Travellers with Disabilities

GAIA is a proud partner in the “Fully Accessible Barbados” initiative, a component of the National Disabilities Programme, which endeavours to ensure that people with disabilities have every opportunity to contribute to society and enjoy the best quality of life possible. Our bathrooms and other amenities at the airport are designed with such accommodation in mind.

The airport features curbs for ease of use and there are lifts for accessing the first floor of the airport.
